We draw from several evidence-based approaches, tailoring treatment to your specific needs:
Including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Including MBSR, MBCT, and self-compassion practices
For emotion regulation and distress tolerance
For changing unhelpful thought patterns
Body-based interventions for trauma and anxiety
Actionable and transformative techniques for couples and relationship work
Therapeutic models informed by spirituality and examining the human condition
For processing various forms of loss
As a clinician I believe transformation is possible with knowledge, insight, and skill. In our work together I will provide psychoeducation—explaining not just what you're experiencing, but why it's happening, what you can do about it, and how to trust your own internal wisdom to guide you forward.
Heal through evidence-based trauma therapy that creates safety and integration. This work includes attachment trauma, relational trauma, sexual trauma, and more.
Improve your relationships through enhanced communication, boundary-setting, and authentic expression to create more fulfillment and intimate connection.
Transform your relationship with your emotions through specialized training in emotional regulation and coping skills for daily life.
Find relief from anxiety and panic through targeted strategies that build confidence, establish safety, and create lasting calm.
Process all forms of grief—including anticipatory, ambiguous, and disenfranchised (unrecognized) grief—with compassionate support and understanding.
Discover what truly matters to you and align your life choices with your authentic values and deepest aspirations.
Cultivate a kinder relationship with yourself, learning to trust your inner wisdom and treat yourself with the compassion you deserve. Build the self-trust to make decisions that are truly yours, not ones based on "shoulds" or others' expectations.
All individuals seeking support at Integrative Psychotherapy and Wellness will begin with an initial free 20 minute consultation. This is to ensure that IPW is indeed a skillful fit for treating their presenting difficulties and future goals. If IPW seems like an appropriate match, then all persons will complete an initial intake. Next, an individualized treatment plan is set based on this initial evaluation and can include weekly individual or couples sessions, group therapy, and/or skills-based coaching. Therapy will differ from person to person because each individual has differing needs. Generally speaking though, most individual clients will begin with weekly sessions.
